District: II
Address: piazza Alessandria (go to gmaps)

Among the piazza Alessandra background there is one of the most ancient local markets of Rome, the Nomentano market. It has maintained its original structure, a ’20s building designed by the first female Italian architect, Elena Luzzato, with wonderful, tall, stained-glass windows that light up the inside – it is a metropolitan market, people-oriented, namely made for the neighbourhood. It has a well-equipped and comfortable break room and bookcrossing areas. In addition to being an historical site for commerce, with excellent, high-quality goods, it has also become the place to go for those who need to chill out after work o study, who can relax and find solace in this gorgeous market.
